Departments
The Curriculum
The courses offered within Sanderson take account of the pupil population and the specific needs of the individual pupils attending. It is the school policy to work with pupils within year groups and classes will have between six and ten pupils of differing abilities.
In S2 to S3, pupils follow Curriculum for Excellence or elaborated curriculum guidelines in all subjects. Starting from S3 onwards until S6, pupils follow SQA National Qualifications in all subjects and are assessed according to the the learning outcomes prescribed by specific courses.
